Nats Hypocrisy There For All To See
21 June 2012

New Zealand First says the Government should stop flinging mud at other political parties around asset sales and take a look at its own shoddy record in regards to wasting taxpayers’ money.

Rt Hon Winston Peters says criticism from National of the Greens using about $70,000 from their leader’s budget on the Keep Our Assets petition is pathetic.

“National makes these claims when they are spending $120 million on consultants, financiers, public relations, and their Aussie banker mates to prepare and sell the assets off.

“Once the assets have been flogged off, the Government will lose more than $100 million a year in revenue.

“It is obvious from the spending analysis that National is the party ripping off the taxpayers and displaying astounding levels of hypocrisy,” says Mr Peters.
